Ausgaben vom Aztekenschwert und verschwundenen Filmstar. Beim letzten sieht man leider wegen der geringen Auflösung die Fratze nicht vollständig. Der Mann an der Kamera hat ein Dracula-Gebiss.

In Sweden the coverartists in some cases are the same as in America. Some of the covers seem to be the same as their American counterparts, but Ola Ericson is the artist. Obviously he has based his artwork on the originals. Tord Nygren, Anders Ferm and Jan Gissberg are the other Swedish artists. On many of the Swedish covers the feature of Mr Alfred Hitchcock is to be found, and I think he disappeared from the American covers very early. That is an interesting detail. It is not always easy to find Hitchcock on the cover, but if you look close he is there (not always, and not on the covers of the late editions) The cover artist to the Finnish covers is Matti Louhi. I am going to Finland this summer, so I hope to find more finnish books. The Greece cover is very interesting. It seems to be Ed Vebell. When I searched in a Swedish library on the web I found two Greece books - O Alfred Chitskok ke i Tris detektiv sto mistiko tou Pirghoutis frikis (The secret of Terror Castle) and O Alfred Chitskok ke i Tris detektiv sto mistirio tou travlou papaghalou (The mystery of the stuttering parrot). The information I found says that Chari Kein is the cover artist and that the first editions came 1978. Perhaps there are many Greece editions with different cover artists. I know that there are at least two titles translated to Russia in one volume. It was found in a Finnish library on the web. Wouldn´t it be very interesting to find this Russian book and its cover!
